What's On Your Fingers and Toes?

I'm wearing Zoya polish as usual - "Sylvie" on my toes (which are in need of a pedicure) and "Piper" on my fingers.

I think it's time to check if anyone is reading my Blog - so anyone who answers the question will go in a drawing for a new Spring shade of Zoya.  I will pick two names at random on Monday.

I Can't Help It, Darlings ........

but I have to make another breast comment.

Breasts, ladies, are like children.  You can grow them yourselves or pick up a new pair in Brazil.  But either way, they really do need some healthy boundaries.  (Cough, Sharon.)  It also doesn't help to lift them up to Jesus - Sarah Jessica.  I'm just saying.

OSCARS

Sorry I'm so late posting about the Oscars.  I came down with some kind of flu over the weekend that really knocked me out.  I finally feel that I might live today.

For the most part, I thought everyone was right on target.  But there were a few misses. 

One was Reese which really surprised me.  I guess we all have our bad days.  I didn't think this gown did anything for her at all.

Sharon Stone is just so over.  What's with this dress?  Who want to see her old nips anyway?

I thought Kate's dress was just okay - nothing special.

I like SJP's gown.  She can carry this off.  Although, not everyone agrees with me on this one.  A lot of the experts thought it was to over the top.

What can I say about this one - hillbilly.

I loved Amy Adam's choice and I am totally in love with the necklace.

Remember Diane Keaton's stupid look from 1977?  Yuck.  I guess they didn't have stylists back then.

Natalie Portman had my favorite look of the night.  What a beautiful dress.

This, my friends, is terrifying.  WTF?  She looks like an Oompa Loopa.

Just think - Harry Hamlin has to wake up looking at face each and every morning.

This just looks like a gay man's wall paper.  Does she ALWAYS have to do the mermaid look?  Boring.

Not bad at all for 75.  Sophia.

All in all, I thought Hugh Jackman did a great job.  I am disappointed that Mickey didn't win.  But he had a hell of a comeback.

My Boy Mickey

was looking mighty dapper at the Independent Spirit Awards.  I understand he has a stylist for the Oscar's tonight.  I can't wait!

You can't see it ... but he has a bun in the back.  Love it!

Night at the Races

In case anyone is interested - I have tickets to a fundraiser on Saturday evening, March 21st.  It's for a traveling baseball team and it is at the St. John Party Center located at State Road and I-480.  The cost is $20 a ticket and includes a buffet dinner, beer and pop.  There is a chance to win on the races and there are some very nice baskets and gift certs raffled off.

I had a great time last year.  We brought snacks and some of the people brought liquor and wine.  I hope to get a table together.

My solution is to have the somewhat ethically challenged physician charged with supporting all eight of them until they are 18.

My Three Favorite Words .....

are "Gift With Purchase."  They set my heart beating a little faster.  Just in time for a little Valentine's Day treat, Macy's is offering a great GWP at the Lancombe counter.

The makeup bag looks pretty cool too.  I hope to get to Macy's tomorrow or Friday to pick one up.

Doesn't this warmer weather make you think of Spring?  Anyone going to the Home and Flower Show?

Grammy's

Hope everyone enjoyed the Grammy's last night. 

One of my favorite artists, Adele, won two Grammy's last night and I thought she looked fabulous.  Then again - she should - she was styled by none other than Vogue editor - Anna Wintour!

If you aren't familiar with an of her recordings, get on Amazon or I-tunes and take a listen.  I think she is amazing.

Now, my girlfriend's of a "somewhat mature age,"  I ask you, doesn't Paul McCartney look great?  He has barely changed from the 60's when we all fell in love with him.  Heather must have been one royal pain in the ass.

I teared up during Jennifer Hudson's, "You Pulled Me Through."  She should have been the winner of AMERICAN IDOL - hands down.

Finally - one of my favorites - Al Green - rocked it with Justin Timberlake.

All in all, I thought it was a good show and most of the performances were right on target.

The HAT!!!!!

It's nearly been a week and the internet is still buzzing about the HAT!  My friends, this is going to be the trend to end all trends.  The hatmaker, Mr. Song has all ready been deluged with orders.  I understand the HAT also has it's own My Space page with fans everywhere.

I am going to go out on a limb here and predict that we will all be wearing similar hats by next winter.  The HAT has all ready made an appearance at the SAG Awards by one of the most beautiful actresses of all times.  As you can see, it has been showing up absolutely everywhere!

I am working on reviewing the Red Carpet at the SAG Awards and hope to have it up tomorrow.  I started Weight Watchers again on Saturday ... so let me warn you that I have my bitchpants on and I'm ready to go.
